It was a fantastic Friday in our Kindergarten Transition Classroom! ❤️ Today, we continued practicing how to walk safely in the hallways and worked on the number 3 by counting and practicing how to write it. We had lots of fun learning along the way!




We ended our week with an all-school fire drill that turned into a dance party and Popsicles to help everyone beat the heat! 🍦💃🕺



Side note for next week: We will be learning all about colors, so be sure to check the email to see which color shirt your child should wear each day! 🌈



It was a wonderful week and I’m so proud of these kiddos and how brave they were in a new classroom this week.  I can’t wait to see everyone back on Monday after a refreshing and relaxing weekend! 💕

  As the school year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting not just on what my students have learned in math—but on how far they’ve come in ways that can’t always be measured by a test or worksheet. This year, we celebrated the big wins—mastering addition strategies, understanding fractions, building confidence with numbers. But we also celebrated the quiet victories: persistence, patience, and courage. Math can be challenging, especially for students who have been told—directly or indirectly—that they’re “not good at it.” One of my greatest goals as a teacher is to help rewrite that story. To show my students that math is not about being fast or perfect, but about thinking, trying, and growing. To my students: I am so proud of you.
