Great start to the week!

Today was another wonderful day in kindergarten! We officially started our language arts program and learned all about the different ways our mouths move to make sounds. We practiced how our mouths, lips, and tongues work and explored different letter sounds. It was so much fun watching the kids learn and practice these new skills!




In math, we worked on the number 4—counting, identifying, and practicing how to write it. We also had our first religion lesson, where we talked about how much God loves each of us. ❤️





For Color Week, today was all about RED! ❤️ We made our very first color book and had fun learning and finding things that are red.

Tomorrow, we’ll be learning all about YELLOW! 💛 Students may wear a yellow shirt with uniform bottoms.

It was a great day filled with learning, practicing, and lots of growing! I’m so proud of our little learners! 🌟

  As the school year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting not just on what my students have learned in math—but on how far they’ve come in ways that can’t always be measured by a test or worksheet. This year, we celebrated the big wins—mastering addition strategies, understanding fractions, building confidence with numbers. But we also celebrated the quiet victories: persistence, patience, and courage. Math can be challenging, especially for students who have been told—directly or indirectly—that they’re “not good at it.” One of my greatest goals as a teacher is to help rewrite that story. To show my students that math is not about being fast or perfect, but about thinking, trying, and growing. To my students: I am so proud of you.
