Rainbow Toast Week!!

🌈 What a colorful week in Kindergarten! 🌈




We wrapped up Color Week with one of our favorite days—Rainbow Toast Day! 🌈🍞 The kids absolutely loved creating and enjoying their colorful toast!





We also finished our UFLI Getting Ready lessons in Language Arts! Next, we’ll begin really focusing on targeted letter sounds and building those early phonics skills. 🔤







In math, we continued working on writing numbers 1–9, patterns, and story problems, giving our students lots of opportunities to practice through fun and hands-on activities. ✏️🔢




It was a busy and productive week, and we are so proud of all that our little learners accomplished! ❤️



📚 A reminder for next week:
Tuesday is an Early Out Day! Kindergarten students will leave through the After School Care door at 1:15 and go to the big lot.

On Early Out Days, students may wear dress-down apparel, including shorts, pants, or jeans paired with an everyday T-shirt. 👕👖

  As the school year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting not just on what my students have learned in math—but on how far they’ve come in ways that can’t always be measured by a test or worksheet. This year, we celebrated the big wins—mastering addition strategies, understanding fractions, building confidence with numbers. But we also celebrated the quiet victories: persistence, patience, and courage. Math can be challenging, especially for students who have been told—directly or indirectly—that they’re “not good at it.” One of my greatest goals as a teacher is to help rewrite that story. To show my students that math is not about being fast or perfect, but about thinking, trying, and growing. To my students: I am so proud of you.
